Okay, Deep Breath...

I have a much better prospective on things today. I'm feeling more confident in my decision. I'm looking at it like this: Yeah, it could have been a great opportunity. But no matter what they would have offered me, school will always be the better opportunity. So really, I can't be missing out anything as good as what's in store for me.

I can't thank everyone enought for their supportive comments. I'm not exaggerating when I say they got my through this. I wrote Rene's zen saying ("Leap and the net will appear") on the corner of a piece of paper right before I called the job. After I hung up I had a bit of a cry and then read and reread the quote. I can feel that net forming below me right now.

I love you guys so much!!! Thanks for supporting me, I needed it!

I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!! outstanding work!

i have the zen saying on a card on my wall so i can look at it and know i'll always be okay. mlk jr. had the same idea when he said "take the first step in faith. you don't have to see the whole staircase. just take the first step." that's usually the toughest part of the whole process. and you've done it. so appreciate yourself for that.

this is gonna be so cool. =)

sherrie sherrie sherrie... I am so very very very proud of you!!! You're making the right decision. I am really sorry I have neglected the blog for a small bit and was totally unaware of the laptop/car/super hard times/tough decisions, etc. I really suck! You truly do rule and I know good things will find you soon. And you are always so strong in times of adversity, which is why you will always succeed. I miss our porch talks and ciggies. Oh yeah, I totally started smoking again. Damn... I suck. But I sure do miss you and all our good times. I'm hugging and kissing and hugging you more in my mind! hang in there babe--- you'll be great! And you also have Bean for continuous love, snuggles, bites, and licks. Hello to Paulie-woo!
love,
the wife

I think you absolutely made the right choice. I am looking into finally going to college myself, and I can't wait to have something positive to focus my misdirected time and energy on. Way to go!
